The world and his wife thought Adam Lambert was going to walk away with the American Idol title last year, but ultimately he was just too *Daily Mail voice* ‘flamboyant’ to conquer the wholesome yet dull Kris Allen.

Anyway – we all know who the real winner was; Adam made it onto the cover of Rolling Stone months before releasing anything (much to the consternation of the magazine’s muso readership), and he’s recently been recording with Lady GaGa.

LADY. BLOODY. GAGA.

We really want to like Lambert…yet his debut single ‘Time For Miracles’ is a horrific soft-rock power-ballad, the kind we thought Nirvana had killed off in the early ’90s. There’s no denying this boy’s vocals talent, but we can’t thinking he should be in a touring performance of Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s Cats, where he’d be far easier to ignore…

Get your facts straight!! This video was done for the movie 2012 – an over the top cheesy disaster flick so they needed a bombastic over the top ballad and Adam delivers nicely. Adam is clear that this is not the type of music he will be releasing for his new cd. His new single is expected to drop in the next week or so. Can’t wait!!

Before you comment on Adam Lambert and Time For Miracle, do get your facts straight. The song was made for the movie and it is not considered as the official single of his album. This song is perfect for the 2012 movie. I just love power ballads. Adam Rocks.

And before you pass judgement, the music is at #9 in itunes.

@ Andrew – wow, what a judgmental description – “sissy”. LOL! Can’t you think of better homophobic comment? Adam in video didn’t project anything “sissy-like”. LOL! It must all be in your brain. What a homophobic comment. Bwa-ha-ha-ha!!!

I love this video! Adam really has a killer vocals. It is so perfect to the movie. And number 9 in itunes in less than a week. I already downloaded the song. :-) Kudos to Adam!! Already pre-ordered his CD.

Thanks for posting this blog and video.

This guys from American Idol sure got talent. He sang Time for Miracle so beautifully. The song is just perfect for a apocalyptic movie. Read in another blog that this song is #1 in Anazon. I will have to check itunes for the song. Will definitely download.

Lame??? I hope i am not just alone in saying that the song IS NOT LAME! It is a good song sang by a good vocalists! Adam can really belt it out. What a talent!!

As for acting, i think it is fine. I don’t see anything “sissy-like”.
