Cheryl Cole is the latest celeb to collaborate with famed photographer Rankin. The pop star exclusively debuts her video ‘Ghetto Baby’ on Hunger TV. The clip is a simple photoshoot-style clip with plenty of street dance and glamour shots. It’s nothing ground breaking, but her fans will surely love this early Christmas present.

The song was co-written by Lana Del Rey (check out Lana’s demo here), and is taken from Cheryl’s latest album ‘A Million Lights’.

Cheryl Cole performs Under The Sun and Call My Name at Stand Up To Cancer

Fresh off closing her first solo tour, Cheryl Cole took to the stage of last night’s Stand Up To Cancer charity telethon on Channel 4. She opened the show with Call My Name which suffered a few technical glitches. It seemed as if her mic was turned on, but someone had forgotten to put on the backing track with pre-recorded vocals, resulting in the first half mostly being whispered.

Her second performance, Under The Sun, sounded a lot better, although it was obvious Cheryl was clearly singing along a pre-recorded track.

Cheryl took to Twitter to say:

“I really dn’t feel upset abt the tec issues during my performance and chat.. I just hope every1 commenting on it has done their part 4 the cause”

Cheryl Cole has premiered her video for ‘Under the Sun‘, the second single from her new album ‘A Million Lights‘.

The video was shot by Anthony Mandler – who has previously worked with Rihanna and Lana Del Rey – and starts off in a 50′s inspired environment, before the Girls Aloud singer partakes in a cheeky dance routine.

Her latest performance in a long string of appearances is a 30-minute T4 special where the Girls Aloud star performed three highly choreographed tracks from her new album A Million Lights (Call My Name, Screw You and Under The Sun) + her debut single ‘Fight For This Love’ – which still sounds amazing today.

Cheryl’s collaboration ‘Craziest Things‘ with will.i.am also appeared online, a song with some dub-step influences and punchy chords like her lead single ‘Call My Name’.

Cheryl Cole announces first ever solo arena tour dates

It’s all systems go in the world of Cheryl Cole. After a string of TV performances and radio interviews, the Geordie princess has now announced her first ever solo arena tour in support of her forthcoming album, A Million Lights.

The A Million Lights Tour kicks off at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena on 3rd October and includes stops in Dublin, London, Nottingham, Sheffield, Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and ends in her hometown Newcastle.

Tickets will go on a special pre-sale 9am on Wednesday (13th June) via Cheryl’s official website before going on general sale at 9am on Friday 15th June.

Cheryl Cole appeared on The Voice this evening performing her brand new single ‘Call My Name‘. We absolutely loved her very brave intro, which saw her jumping off a high platform into the arms of her dancers, but sadly her fearless start made the rest of it look rather tame in comparison.

Cheryl Cole new single ‘Call My Name‘ is out 10th June. The EP comes with two b-sides, ‘Telescope‘ and ‘Make You Go‘.

‘Telescope’ is a pretty ballad, while ‘Make You Go’ is an intense pop tune with a throbbing baseline. ~~Something you might expect from Santigold~~. It’s an interesting tune, but lyrically not the most sophisticated: “I’ll make your jeans vibrate like a Nokia.”

Update: we’ve just been told on Facebook that ‘Make You Go’ samples Major Lazer’s ‘Hold The Line‘, which features none other than Santigold.

As promised, Cheryl Cole’s ‘Call My Name’ video has arrived today – no doubt her soldiers are thrilled by the military precision with which this campaign is being run. You’ve probably seen pictures and teasers already, but get ready for the whole thing ‘cause here it comes…

‘Call My Name’ is released on June 10th . The album ‘A Million Lights’ follows on June 18th.

Say what you will about Cheryl ‘Cheryl’ Cole, but she never fails to disappoint with lead singles. She’s been away from the pop scene for a while now, but as with ‘Fight For This Love‘ and ‘Promise This‘, ‘Call My Name‘ is an immediate dancefloor-pleaser, and hopefully for this go-around she’s not going to be distracted by other commitments (X Factor/divorce/L’oreal/malaria yada yada yada.)

We all know she’s got what it takes to be an amazing pop star, so here’s to album #3 – let’s hope it’s more consistent than the previous two. She always delivers a handful of great tracks, but we REALLY want an ‘all killer- no filler’ record. Hopefully ‘A Million Lights‘ will be that release.

The ‘Call My Name’ video will arrive on May 2nd via Vevo, with the single going on sale June 10th.
