The 2013 Billboard Music Awards took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas yesterday, and with almost 20 performances and double the amount of awards. Well, they don’t do things by half in Vegas, we suppose.

Christina Aguilera seems to have more success as a featured artist on someone else’s track than on her own. Xtina takes on the chorus on Pitbull‘s latest euro dance hit ‘Feel This Moment‘.

Unfortunately the video is as original as the song, which uses a sample from ‘Take On Me’ by A-Ha, but it does the job.

Christina Aguilera performs Sia-penned ‘Blank Page’ at People’s Choice Awards

About a week ago, a Sia demo called ‘Blank Page‘ surfaced online, and yesterday saw a performance of said song from Christina Aguilera, who apparently got all emotional while rehearsing the track for the People’s Choice Awards. Us Weekly reports:

“She was very emotional. The song is about making mistakes and realizing you can’t go back but you can start over with a blank slate. Christina expresses herself through her songs and this one is very emotional. This year is a new beginning for her and she’s excited.”

Last week Christina Aguilera performed ‘Make The World Move‘ with Cee Lo Green on The Voice, this week she performed her country duet ‘Just A Fool‘ with fellow judge Blake Shelton.

In true Aguilera style, she started off full-blast – forgetting to hit some of the notes on the way – but overall the performance was restrained and classy. Something that can’t be said for her OTT performance on the American Music Awards on Sunday.

Let’s hope all these performances of different tracks will improve the sales of Aguilera’s new album ‘Lotus‘.

Christina Aguilera released her highly anticipated album ‘Lotus’ earlier this week and to celebrate, the big-voiced singer performed on TV show The Voice. She was joined by fellow judge CeeLo Green and the pair performed a new track off Aguilera’s album titled ‘Make The World Move‘.

It’s a shame Aguilera bellows her way through the song. She has a great voice, but needs to learn how to control it.

Christina Aguilera‘s album ‘Lotus’ will be out next week. One of the tracks featured on the LP is the Sia collaboration ‘Blank Page‘. The piano ballad sees Christina pleading for a second chance from her lover.

Christina Aguilera will release her new album ‘Lotus‘ on November 12th. She’s described the album as a “very multi-layered and very heartfelt’, which will be the follow-up to the commercial failure of 2010′s ‘Bionic‘.

The album features lead single ‘Your Body‘ as well as collaborations with fellow The Voice mentors Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton and songwriting and production credits from Max Martin, Sia, Shellback, Alex da Kidd, Claude Kelly and more.

Christina Aguilera debuts new single ‘Your Body’ on radio

We had a sneak peek at Christina Aguilera’s new single ‘Your Body‘ in demo form last month, before the full thing appeared last week (only to be swiftly removed by her label.) But today was the official radio debut, so it’s finally out there.

The track, which was written and produced by hit-makers Max Martin and Shellback and co-written by Savan Kotecha, will be available digitally on Monday (September 17) in the US.

‘Your Body’ is the lead single from Aguilera’s fifth studio album ‘Lotus‘, out 12th November.

‘Lotus’ is said to also include production from Alex Da Kid and Sia, who previously worked with Aguilera on her last album ‘Bionic’. A collaboration with Aguilera’s Voice colleague, Cee Lo Green, is also expected.

It feels like this video’s been in the pipeline for ages now, but the wait hasn’t harmed the song at all – Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera have already topped the US iTunes chart with the super-catchy ‘Moves Like Jagger‘. The retro-styled video features an array of Jagger impersonators, footage of the great man himself, Christina in a big floppy hat, and finally – of course – a shirtless Adam Levine.
