Blur return from seven year absence with ‘Fools Day’

Blur have marked Record Store Day with the limited edition release ‘Fool’s Day‘, their first new material since 2003′s ‘Good Song‘.

Although the band appeared to be on permanent hiatus while Damon Albarn’s Gorillaz took off, they delighted UK audiences with a series of summer concerts last year. New music seemed unlikely, but ‘Fool’s Day’ will no doubt leave fans optimistic that a new album could be on the cards. WAPS certainly hopes it happens!
