Britney for O2 Residency?

NME reports that Britney Spears is to host a two-week residency at London’s O2 next summer. The gigs would be Britney’s first UK dates since her 2004 Onyx Hotel tour.

The pop princess will reportedly settle in the Greenwich venue in June as part of her Circus world tour. Other artists who have staged residencies at the venue include Spice Girls and Prince.

In other Britney news, her comeback single ‘Womanizer’ is released today.
