Britney fans watched with baited breath this evening as she took to Germany’s Bambi Award stage for a re-jigged version of ‘Womanizer’, her first live showing since 2007’s disastrous MTV VMA ‘Gimme More’ performance.
Spears took to the stage 45 minutes into the TV and media award ceremony for a circus-themed set which featured creepy clowns, rings of fire and human bowling.
Although Spears looked nervous, she appeared to gain confidence throughout and beamed at the end when Karl Lagerfeld appeared to present her with her award for Best International Pop Act.
