It's the new and improved Sophie Ellis Bextor

Sophie Ellis Bextor’s new single ‘Bittersweet‘ premiered on Gaydar Radio last night, and it’s an even bigger rave tune than ‘Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer)‘. We’re not quite sure of this is the original or the Freemasons remix, but then again they produced the original track, so it can’t be radically different.

Lolene: Rich (Fake It Til You Make It)

US-based Brit Lolene gave us a sample of her electropop at the end of last year with buzz single ‘Sexy People‘. She’s now back with first proper single ‘Rich (Fake It Til You Make It)‘ and will release her debut album The Electrick Hotel this summer.

As previously reported by Rap-Up, Toni Braxton has teamed up with Precious star Mo’Nique on her new song ‘Caught (Don’t Take Your Hat Off)‘. The slowjam will be featured on Toni’s forthcoming album ‘Pulse’ (out May 4th).

Tania Foster wants to be your Supawoman

Budding singer-songwriter Tania Foster seems to be from the Lady GaGa / Keri Hilson school of self-penned, uplifting pop, and therefore we thought you’d be interested to hear her track ‘Supawoman‘. It’s heavy on the beats and uses a touch of autotune, but the catchy melody is what stands out the most.

Crookers 'Tons of Friends'

WAPS is rather excited about ‘Tons of Friends’, the guest-packed new record from Italian dance duo Crookers. Here’s one of two tracks to borrow Roisin Murphy’s vocals – an interesting number called ‘Royal T’:
