    Lovely artwork
Alexandra Burke premiered her ‘Let It Go‘ video on TV earlier this week, but it’s only just been uploaded to her YouTube page. The video sees Alex and friends taking a dance-fuelled trip through the London Underground, which, coincidentally enough, is also how we choose to conduct ourselves on the tube. It’s the only way.

The album will be largely inspired by dance-pop anthems with an early 90s era.

    Tracklisting:
    1. Heartbreak on Hold
    2. Elephant (Ft. Erick Morillo)
    3. Let It Go
    4. This Love Will Survive
    5. Fire
    6. Between The Sheets
    7. Daylight Robbery
    8. Tonight
    9. Love You That Much
    10. Oh La La
    11. Sitting On Top Of The World
    12. What Money Can’t Buy

Don't you just hate it when you blink at that crucial moment?

Elephant and the new one drift past on Kiss rotation without you even noticing. She should make more of her vocals, the songs are too flat. I love the way she goes full on with the dancing though - she's great and its nice and camp too

I totally agree.. She won xfactor for her great singing voice and I think she has only used that on the great (but hugely overlooked) THe Silence.. Let her be a dance diva, but let her do those amazing power ballads more too..

there're simply not enough ballads in the charts these days. She should get her hands on a Sia ballad.

The charts just aren't good anyone, the listening figures have fallen, people just aren't that bothered anymore with what's going on, everything is to disposable (and that includes half the music in the charts)..

Whatever happened to the film soundtracks staying at number 1 for weeks and weeks? Alexandra Burke could start that all off again with a wonderful ballad.. Her voice is sensational!!

I'm rooting for her, but I think she's ill-advised. Do anyone seriously think that a mediocre dance record will sell well these days? I think that unless you can top David Guetta or, more recently acclaimed, Calvin Harris, even Lady GaGa with her The Fame then don't even try it; bring on something new!

I'm not sure people are really into 90s dance records that much. Alphabeat tried a 90s inspired album and that flopped. It's just too fresh.

I think you can get away with a dance record if you make it distinctive. So many singles that come out have the same production that, to me, makes them sound flat and forgettable - they wash over you. But you can still make it work if you bring something unique - with Tulisa, for example, its her persona and sex crap. Alexandra has a very similar production sound but she's not bringing anything extra to the table. Has to be her voice!!!!!! Who the f is her manager? A 16 year old cretin? All of the recent Alexandra singles sound ridiculously similar. Sh'es got to step up!

Oh, just received a 5-track album sampler for 'Heartbreak on Hold'!
    01 Heartbreak on Hold
    02 Elephant
    03 Let It Go
    04 This Love Will Survive
    05 Between The Sheets

I like 'Between The Sheets'. It's quite mellow and uplifting and will do well on the radio.

Alexandra Burke performed her new single 'Let It Go' on Lorraine this morning and had a little chat beforehand.

I love her new single now!! I should learn to keep my mouth shut and give things a chance instead of blurting out a load of nonsense. Love the vid on the tube with the very convincing passengers

There are a few songs on this album that I like, but I really do wish that there were more ballads like people keep saying. Imagine if she got her own "Un-break My Heart" single, that could do amazing things! However, this album doesn't have one of those :( she said that she has recorded 5 albums worth of songs and THESE are what she decides to put on... smh.

I rate Oh La La for the next single, catchy and I can totally imagine it playing in the clubs!

Looking like it might miss the Top 20 on Sunday if things don't pick up tomorrow :(

Here's a bonus track from the album, Beating Still - a big dance track.

Beating Still is alright, I still think it's Oh La La for the next single! haha. Shame, I really wish there was something more to the album :( makes me sad that it might not be a success for her after so long working on it
