It's a nice idea and looks very pretty, but it's definitely one for the collectors. Shame it doesn't come with some b-sides or rarities.

The doo-wop version of the song (towards the end) sounds good, doesn't it? I wonder if that special disc will be a set of songs reinterpreted, so some orchestral versions and some jazzy or doo-wop version. Kylie does like a jazz version from time to time.

Shows how often she "reinvented" it in her concerts. I hate that. If you're embarrassed about a song then don't play it or just embrace your back catalogue and play it souped up dance version as it should be. Madonna does some quite good variations on her songs (and some shit) but Kylie always has a few tiresome jazzy renderings of her hits in every concert. Well maybe just a couple. Acoustic/ orchestral / jazzy - why do they think people like this in relation to their songs? Hardly likely to open up a new market and is a waste of money for their egos. Interesting to note how bad she sang in 1991. Of course I love her by the way

According to Music Week Kylie Minogue will be releasing a new single in September: 'Flower'. The track was recorded during the X sessions, but didn't make the final album cut. She did however include the track in her X2008 tour.

When a Kylie fan tweeted her about the single, she replied "@cowboystyle #catisoutofthebag".

Oh, I love this doo-wop version of Locomotion, Kylie performed it at some Samsung recently.

I like the iphone game (positive) but doo wop and proms must surely test the most hardened Kylie fan. I appreciate she's creating a buzz but what she's doing is not kylie. I never get past 29 on the app - clearly not a fan and I should shut up. Idesperatey want to know her pastic surgeon as apart from brief pillow face by X she looks amazing. I have a very noble goal in life, pile on the surgeries as I reach 34 - yes,34 - or, f*ck me, 45, [IMG]so I look like a stretched orange with slits for eyes and lips so big that i suffocate anyone unfortunate enough to kiss me. www.justgiving.realman.and lets have some stars.com. Kesha, Pink, Tulisa, zzzzzz. I know I should make more of an effort. Calvin harris should vanish and parasites that ride on his coattails e.g. Florence should stand by their own music - she's fab. Thats my effort. Now to slice off my huge ears.

Confide In Me sounds amazing! It's a great tune either way, but this arrangement is super.

Nick Cave is sounding a lot older on Where The Wild Roses Grow. He re-recorded his vocals for this new version.

I love that version of the Loco-Motion, so much better than the awful "ironic" versions on recent tours.

Oh lord, I'm going for tea with Kylie Minogue a the Savoy! She's throwing a playback party for her new album during afternoon tea and she'll be going round the tables. Any questions I should ask? I'm so excited!

So what do you all think of Kylie's Abbey Road Sessions album? Do you think she should have included other track?

Really intrigued to hear what they've done with Wow (Australian bonus track) and In My Arms (Japanese bonus track), and whether some other tracks will surface as well. There's talk of another single release off the album, so there might be an unreleased b-side *fingers crossed*

Kylie's new album 'The Abbey Road Sessions' features a bonus track 'In My Arms' on the Japanese edition and 'Wow' on the Australian edition. Check out the tracks below. Neither tracks really work that well, so it was a good move to leave them off the European edition.

Kylie has been giving away little nuggets of goodness on her Kylie #k25 Advent Calendar. Check out the latest one, Bittersweet Goodbye from her Anti Tour, earlier this year.
