We’re really wading in a sea of R&B-pop today, aren’t we? First Sugababes, then Peter Andre (ugh) – and now Eurovision runner-up Jade Ewen. Who would have thought she would be the most promising thing we’d post about on this fine afternoon?

‘My Man‘ is a bit of a belter (yes, that’s a contradiction – just go with it) and reminds us slightly of The Saturdays’ ‘Work‘. We’re very interested to see how this all pans out for Jade; she’s got the pipes, but can she maintain that rarest of things, post-Eurovision credibility? Only time will tell. Getting rid of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Diane Warren’s power ballads can only be a good thing, though.
