I think the performance of the night, hands down, was this one. I have always been a Timberlake fan, and thoroughly enjoyed his offering, but Matt Morris’ vocals brought home the whole message for me.

Kudos for choosing this song (thanks to Leonard Cohen) and kudos to its performers who brought passion with an appropriate feel and reverence to the whole evening.

If this was the only performance of the entire evening, for me, it would have sufficed. Gentlemen, you have my deepest admiration as a performing musician and a human being. Thank you for this.
