Say what you will about Cheryl ‘Cheryl’ Cole, but she never fails to disappoint with lead singles. She’s been away from the pop scene for a while now, but as with ‘Fight For This Love‘ and ‘Promise This‘, ‘Call My Name‘ is an immediate dancefloor-pleaser, and hopefully for this go-around she’s not going to be distracted by other commitments (X Factor/divorce/L’oreal/malaria yada yada yada.)
We all know she’s got what it takes to be an amazing pop star, so here’s to album #3 – let’s hope it’s more consistent than the previous two. She always delivers a handful of great tracks, but we REALLY want an ‘all killer- no filler’ record. Hopefully ‘A Million Lights‘ will be that release.
The ‘Call My Name’ video will arrive on May 2nd via Vevo, with the single going on sale June 10th.
