Before Kelly Rowland went all dance on us, fellow Destiny’s Child singer Michelle Williams did a similar thing on her 2008 album ‘Unexpected’. Michelle might not have had a number one smash with the album, but she’s certainly not going back to gospel. A new album is expected later in the year, but is preceded by buzz single ‘Love Gun‘. She described the album as ‘inspirational pop’.
“Think of Katy Perry’s ‘Firework’ or Natasha Bedingfeld’s ‘Unwritten.’ I want to give people a message of hope while at the same time get them moving with dance inspired tracks.”
