Nelly Furtado’s lead single ‘Big Hoops (The Bigger The Better)’ did very little for us. Her second single and title track of her upcoming album ‘Spirit Indestructible‘ has our attention though.
The track, like ‘Hoops’, was produced by Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins, but shows of a more vulnerable Nelly with a soaring vocals reminiscent of her Chris Martin-penned ‘All Good Things’.
“It’s an ode to the spirit which resides in all of us and triumphs over anything,” says Nelly. “It is inspired by people I have met, and special moments in history that I have read about. Spirituality is one of the underlying themes on the album.”
