Madonna is due to kick off her world tour in Tel Aviv on May 29th, meaning any ‘MDNA’ promotion is sadly being kept to a minium. She did however find some time to have a chat with Jimmy Fallon for Facebook. In the interview she talked about ‘Gang Bang‘, and being inspired by Quentin Tarantino movies when writing the track.
She also spoke about the tour, which will follow a similar light and dark theme as her new album. The show opens with a transgression concept involving ‘violence’, before moving into happier territory.
They also touched upon the fact that Madonna’s new video ‘Girl Gone Wild‘, has been given an age restriction of 18.
Madonna’s representative Liz Rosenberg told the New York Post she was not surprised by the decision.
“Some things never change. This is a throwback to when MTV refused to show Justify My Love,’
YouTube has apparently contacted Madonna’s management team with a list of scenes that must be removed before the video can be made available to all users.
