Mariah Carey premieres full video for ‘Triumphant (Get ‘Em)’

Mariah Carey is not herself these days. On her new single, ‘Triumphant (Get ‘Em)‘, she sounds more like a backing singer, or at best a featured artist doing the hooks. The same seems to be happening in the video, which premièred earlier today. While the men fight in the boxing ring, she fails to take centre stage. Instead she’s demoted to a ring girl holding up the boards.

Mariah, if you read this, snap out of it! Find your inner diva and flaunt it.

Carey’s new album is expected in March 2013.
