News: Kylie confirms orchestral and acoustic album for 2012!

Hurrah! After a string of mysterious tweets hinting at an upcoming project, the delightful Kylie Minogue has confirmed a new album for 2012. The star made a surprise live appearance at last night’s EMI showcase at Abbey Road studios, where she revealed:

“I’ve been at Abbey Road for about two weeks in total. Not just for this, I’ve been working on a project for next year. Next year’s my 25th anniversary so we’ve been recording acoustic and orchestral versions of a number of my hits.”(Music Week)

We can’t wait for some lush reworkings of classic Kylie tracks – and we demand a Royal Albert Hall performance please. With a Box reserved for us and Dannii, naturally.
