Lead single ‘Settle Down‘ hasn’t even been released in the UK yet, but the title track from No Doubt‘s new album ‘Push And Shove‘ has already been serviced to radio stations across the pond. We can only presume the lack of interest in their comeback single has made their record label decide to release a more modern sounding track. ‘Push’ was produced by Diplo and is a sweeping mix of dancehall influences with various dub step sections.
“We want to sound modern but we’re still influenced by ska, reggae and Eighties UK bands,” No Doubt’s bassist Tony Kanal told Rolling Stone earlier this month. “There’s no way to escape who we are.”
Push and Shove, the album, is set for release on September 25th.
