Preview: Robbie Coltrane & Noel Fielding in Kate Bush’s ‘Deeper Understanding’ short

After a 5-year absence, Kate Bush is keen to make it up to us. Well – if by tinkering around with and re-releasing old albums counts for anything.

Anyway, her ‘new’ single ‘Deeper Understanding’ has been given the video treatment – but this is Kate Bush we’re talking about, so naturally it’s not simply a video but an ‘extraordinary new short film’ starring Robbie Coltrane (younger readers will know him as Hagrid in the Harry Potter movies); Frances Barber; and The Mighty Boosh‘s Noel Fielding (who recently recreated Kate’s iconic ‘Wuthering Heights‘ on Let’s Dance for Comic Relief).
