Rihanna on the set of her new video 'Hard'
Rihanna has become quite the expert at transforming dark themes into sexy and fashionable imagery, and her latest video ‘Hard‘ continues this trend.
The Melina-directed clip for ‘Rated R’‘s second single premieres this Thursday (17th) on MTV US, and sees RiRi larking about with guns and Mickey Mouse ears on a building site-cum-war zone. Or something.

And in other Rihanna news, Ryan Tedder has told BBC Newsbeat that he will be working with the Barbadian in the new year. The One Republic crooner reveals:
“She’s in a darker musical place right now… she’s got enough of those songs on Rated R to last for a while.
“I can do stuff dark musically, haunting kind of thing, but I want to have her do something vocally that she’s never done before.”
Could a ‘Rated R’ re-release be on the cards already?!
