‘Rude Boy’ was originally intended to be the final single from Rihanna’s ‘Rated R’, with a more upbeat fifth album following later in the year. Rihanna’s label bosses must have had a change of heart, however, and have decided that island-flavoured ballad ‘Te Amo’ should have a crack at the fourth single spot.

The brilliant girl-on-girl themed track will get its first live airing on Thursday’s American Idol.
