Beth Ditto’s taken a break from her day job of pie-eating fronting Gossip to record ‘Cruel Intentions’ with Simian Mobile Disco – and the video is above. You like?

Here’s the second video ‘Love Long Distance’ from the Gossip’s new album ‘Music for Men’. But don’t expect the real Beth Ditto, as it’s an animated affair.

‘Love Long Distance’ is out 13th September 2009.

Trendy dance-types Simian Mobile Disco are back with a new single, the strangely titled ‘Audacity of Huge’.

‘…Huge’ features vocals from Chris Keating of Yeasayer and is the first track to be taken from SMD’s forthcoming ‘Temporary Pleasure’ album, released August 17th.

Other guests on the record include Beth Ditto and Jamie Lidell.
