Following Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins four-part reality show Totally T-Boz, the TLC star has released the uplifting track ‘Champion‘. The empowering message is about winning battles and being a fighter, a message close to her heart as she was diagnosed with sickle cell anaemia early in life, and was told by doctors that she wouldn’t live past 30-years-old. The new track, which is available on iTunes US, is in aid of sickle cell and leukaemia foundations.
Aside from her solo projects, T-Boz is planning to release new music with Chilli to celebrate TLC’s 20th anniversary.
“We will do two new songs and remix some of the older hits,” she told Anderson Cooper on his daytime show. “Use it as a twenty-year anniversary. Twenty years, two decades.”
