As we all know, Mariah Carey loves playing in the snow. So it’s not surprising she’s supporting Team USA during the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver with her song ‘100%‘. The song was originally recorded for her movie Precious, but was later replaced by Mary J Blige’s ‘I Can See in Colour’.

’100%’ is featured on the AT&T Team USA Soundtrack which supports Team USA athletes and their pursuit of greatness. Fittingly the video was filmed during her Angels Advocate Tour in Canada.

As much as I want to support team USA this is something a NO NO in my Ipod.

by the looks of it, you’re not the only one Shane. I think Mariah was back on form with the Emancipation of Mimi – which in essence was a back to basics. After that album, she just did more of the same and the general public just weren’t feeling it (the stans of course loved it!) I think it’s time for Mariah to re-invent herself big time. Though I’m not sure if she’s capable of doing that. Imagine if Mariah went all disco… or something random like that. Hell, get Mariah to go nu-grunge ;-)

I love Mariah but she has tried desperate measures to revive her career over the past year. Her latest stunt is a Barbie-ish video with rent-a-rapper Nicki Minaj and now this? In the United States, Mariah Carey is playing shows in mini theaters–some the size of a high school gymnasium. In Toronto, she even offered ’2 tickets for the price of 1″. I think she has passed her prime or try different thing – acting!!!

what nasty nasty comments from some of you , where is ur respect for this lady no matter if she is currently hot or not, she’s been at top of Brazillian charts for 5 months with ‘i want to know what love is’ (which is still in the AC charts in US), atop the BET video chart for up out my face for like 5 weeks?? she’s no. 2 in Japan with Angels Cry??? She has had over 3million views for up out my face video on youtube …this year she’s starred in one of the most acclaimed films of the year (2 oscars to boot) she also won 2 breakthrough actress awards, the peoples choice award for best r’n'b artist, a no.1 r’n'b album (MOAIA) what on earth are u all talking about. Is that not enough success? does she have to get her ass out like lady gaga or beyonce to be relevant? Mariah has had an incredible career and is still going for it, ok i agree that some of the music is samey yes she could change it up a little but my god after 20 years in the industry cant we just accept Mimi for what she is?? she is up there with the best of the best no question

Remember there wud be no beyonce (put it away and save it for jay-Z), no rhianna (who is a terrible singer – too nasal), alicia (only has 3 good songs on any of her albums)…etc without this lady so give her a bit of respect please she has done so much for black and mixed race women, in US and beyond, so much charity work. Give her a salute, rather than the V sign, if her time is over so be it but look back at her music catalogue it cant be touched by whitney…etc who should still be in rehab i must add
