Radio 1′s impressive Hackney Weekend went off with a bang yesterday, as thousands of sturdy Brits defied the weather to stand in a muddy field and drink cider for 8 hours while waiting for Jay Z to come on. Along the way, the crowd was treated to appearances from big names including (deep breath) Rita Ora, Emeli Sande, Dappy, Leona Lewis, Rizzle Kicks, Ed Sheeran, Example, Calvin Harris, Nicki Minaj, will.i.am, Jay Z (ft.
